How do Realtors donate to charity through this program?
The generous agents in our network donate in two different ways: (1) every time they close a transaction they donate $100 to help us cover the operating expenses for our program, and (2) if when you hire your agent you let him or her know that you found them through The CARE Network, they’ll make an additional donation of up to 25% of their commission directly to The CARE Foundation to help kids fight cancer, or to another worthy cause of your choice.
Why would a Realtor donate 25% of his or her commission?
Ask any Realtor and they will tell you they LOVE to pay referral fees. It’s the easiest way for them to grow their business, and at zero risk! When you hire a Realtor because they support our cause they view it as a referral, but instead of it going to another agent, it’s being paid to a 501c3 nonprofit that helps kids fight cancer and supports other local, worthy causes. They benefit from the referral itself, but they also love to support such an amazing cause.
*We have a corporate broker that handles any referral payments, and 100% of these referrals goes either to our charity to help kids fight cancer, or to a specific cause that the client chooses.
Do I choose my own agent, or do you choose for me?
You have complete say in which agent you choose. We’re here to help if you want an opinion on who may be most qualified to represent you. We know each agent and analyze things like experience in your market area, experience with your property type, education, negotiation experience, communication skills, and more.
How do service providers listed on the website donate to charity?
Every home service provider (plumbers, roofers, etc.) listed on this website makes either an annual or a monthly donation that helps run our program and fight childhood cancer. The more people that redeem their coupons or discounts by mentioning The CARE Network at the time of service, the extra these companies are willing and able to give!
How does donating to charity work?
When your transaction closes your agent will either donate up to 25% of their commission directly to the family of your choice, or make the donation to The CARE Foundation, a 501c3 nonprofit that provides broader support to numerous families and organizations to help fight childhood cancer.
